JOY TO THE KIDS: BQ MALL holds Kids Fair 2019

This October, BQ Mall puts premium on the heart and joy of every family — the children — as it holds its Kids’ Fair.

As a treat to the children and their parents and guardians, BQ Department Store Children’s Section is holding a month-long sale where kids’ clothing is offered at up to 50% off. With Christmas drawing near, the sale comes at a perfect time for grown-ups to shop for their kid’s, sibling’s, or godchild’s holiday get up and/or holiday present without the Christmas rush and the perennial holiday shopping crowd.

The entire month of October is filled with activities where the kids are the star.

On October 13, BQ will host the BQ Play Day. An inflatable playground will be set up where kids can run, jump, and play, enjoying the bliss of innocence and youth.  Snacks will also be served. Kids will be admitted to the Play Day for free upon presentation of a minimum or accumulated receipt purchase worth Php500.00 at the Children’s Section Kids Fair Display. Adults need only to present the receipts at the cashier to claim their stub and enjoy a playful and active afternoon with their kids.

Acknowledging the singing prowess of the Boholano young such as the likes of the Loboc Children’s Choir and The Voice Kids contender Gian Ale, BQ Mall sets the stage for young singers with the Grand Videoke Pitch Perfect Battles Grand Finals on October 27, 2pm.

Interested kids aged 8 to 12 years old, need to audition at the BQ Department Store Appliance Section where they need to sing a solo piece using the Grand Videoke Perfect Pitch Mode of Grand Videoke, the contest’s main sponsor. Auditionees will be screened by a representative of Grand Videoke using the following criteria: Voice Quality- 50%; Perfect Pitch Score – 30%; Entertainment Value – 20%. Moreover, singers who will get a score of 70 and above from the videoke machine will be given a freebie item like an eco bag, ballpen, or lanyard. The audition will run from October 13 to 25, 2019.

The top five successful applicants will qualify for the Grand Finals on October 27 and shall be notified via phone call, text message, and email. The qualifiers will then compete in a clash of talent and vocal abilities, with only one contestant declared as a winner and who shall take home a Grand Videoke Rhapsody 3 Pro Plus amounting to a whopping P17,000. The First Runner Up will receive a WOW Wireless Mic while the Second Runner Up will go home with a WOW Dynamic Mic. Both runners up will also receive additional prizes courtesy of BQ Mall. Non-winners will also receive a Grand Videoke loot bag worth P500.

Lastly, on October 31, 2 PM, BQ Mall will be invaded by cute and spooky kids with their Halloween Trick or Treat at the BQ Mall Atrium. This is an annual event of the mall for kids where they can dress up, have fun, and go trick-or-treating around the mall.
